cant get my head round this one but im guessing  i can start again after 22:00 tomorrow night

You had a full weekly rest for last week so a reduced is fine for this week.

The weekly rest last Sunday is just there to stop you going more than 144 hours between weekly rest periods and doesn’t prevent you having another reduced rest.

cheers coffie, your quick on the draw tonight

If I wasn’t ■■■■■■ it would have been quicker but there were many typos to correct before hitting submit.

If you start work again at 22:00 Sunday you will have 8 1/2 hours compensation to be paid back by midnight Sunday 18th December.

Yes. You will have had two reduced weekly rest periods but you only need to compensate for one of them Doesn’t matter which one so if you want more time off compensate for the shortest one, if you want to work compensate for the longer of the two.

Eight and a half hours of 21 hours, you decide.

Technically, regardless of which one you say you are compensating for, as soon as you have made 8.5 hours compensation up you’re good to go. However, if you want the time off your boss doesn’t need to know that.
