24/12 volt cool box

Whats the best way to use this via a 240 volt system (like at home or hotel room). would the power pack used for a cb do it,
what ampage would i need 8 or 10 amp or bigger.

As long as the transformer for the cb puts out 12 volts you should be ok. To work out the amps you need to know the wattage of the unit. Watts divided by volts = Amps. So as an example 100 watts divided by 12 volts would equal 8.33 amps. Hope that helps

thanks for that, i’m never sure about the leccy things. need to find a cheapish one now. :unamused:

if its a compressor fridge then the amps are quite low, if its the electric fan type then you will need at least a 10amp i would think
