Hi John we have entered Seddon and Bedford OB so hopefully we will be there but in our job at weekends anything can happen so keep fingers xd n c u there, not giving good weather either over next few days,
Anyone for Kelsall this weekend?
Surely the best one so far this year (but I missed Gaydon!). At least 40 acres of exhibits, with stacks of ancient and modern lorries as well as the varied steam, agricultural and private motoring shows.Just the thing for an old fogey with diesel running through his veins!. Well worth a look if anyone can get there tomorrow, Sunday 23rd June.
I’ve planted a few pics on the Photo page.

Clashes with Malvern truckfest Casey, which is not far from here.
Cheers Dave.
You can’t be everywhere, Dave. Also clashes with the big steam event at Astle Park, but luckily I live close to both so I can drop in to the other one tomorrow.

We will have a look at the weather in the morning before we decide to go to Malvern Casey. I don’t go where its likely to be wet. We might end up just going out for a Sunday roast.
Cheers Dave.
There’s a sensible idea!
“Weather permitting” is my motto nowadays. I’ve spent too many years getting soaked to the skin while in the process of earning a living so I don’t go out in the “Manchester Weather” any more.

If we don’t go Casey, I will have to take Tracy out for lunch, as I said don’t bother getting veg etc because we will go to Malvern.
Cheers Dave.

Is this Daresbury On the A56 ? ROF, Regards Larry.
C.S Ellis are throwing open their doors next Saturday and expect around 50 classic vehicles according to the local rag. Not sure if this includes their 20 or so preserved fleet members but should be well worth a look. I think it’s approximately 5 pounds for admission with proceeds going to charity as they celebrate 80 years in business. It’s at their Wireless Hill depot in South Luffenham, Rutland.
The Foden Society are at the Banbury Rally, Bloxham tomorrow and Sunday.
Really fancy the C.S.Ellis one as I used to run with a few of their lads on Powder tankers. Bit too far for me, I’m afraid, so it looks like I’m going just down the road to Daresbury.
Yes, Larry, on the A56 just off M56. Probably more steam than motors, but I’ll report back for everyone’s information.
Also, for those who missed the North Rode show, they are holding a “Transport Extravaganza” in September. I’ll keep my eyes open for the exact date.
That Stanfield knows everything!
Thanks, John.
Daresbury Steam Festival this weekend, 13th & 14th July.
Hoping there will be commercials as well, but if the weather holds it’ll be a nice day out anyway.
