2012 Manufacturer Recalls

I have just received the latest VOSA newsletter with a list of recalls. VIN information is available from VOSA and the manufacturer

DAF 75. 85 XF 105 - Risk of air leaks on brake circuit

MAN TGX - Risk of fire

Volvo FM/FH - Risk of short circuit

Volv FM/FH - Bolts may crack

Iveco Stralis - Pneumatic suspension may fail

Mercedes Sprinter - Incorrect cross member bolts used

MAN TGS, TGX , X TYPES, BUS/COACH CHASSIS - Power steering may fail

TGA,TGM, TGS & TGX - Power steering may fail

Land Rover Defender - Seat belt brackets may detach

There is some good news, most of the BMW car range are at risk of fire :stuck_out_tongue:

And not 1 scania in there, just goes to show they are the best!!!

Scania my ■■■■,no Renault there either but in the interests of the safety of the public and our many colleagues in this industry seems MAN should be taken off the
road instantly so many dangerous defects.

Didnt think the stralis had suspension fitted in the first place!

i thought the stralis already had a fire alert , i know a few drivers who carry matches and a gallon of fuel for just such an occasion … :wink:

Ref the DAF recall it’s the park brake circuit that may leak,From what i know the pipe manufacturer made a error …What happens is the pipe may crack where it joins the voss coupling

Also had a recall on the daf xf 61 plate I drive for N/S shocker.
