Depends on your interpretation I suppose. Take me for example. I am very intelligent (and modest) indeed, probably far superior in intellect than you, yet I drive a truck.
I earn far more money than you do as a police officer whilst driving a truck and do a 4 on 4 off shift pattern which enables me to have plenty family time, and also more than enough time to enjoy my sport and other activites. I am curious though why considering your obvious disdain for wagon steerers, you come on here?

Many police officers have held senior well paid careers before joining.
The only disdain is for those who can’t have a civilised discussion.

I’m not a fan ofRoads Rat, neither do I have an axe to grind with him/her, but what we’ve collectively done is to turn a potentially “tame cop” into a hater. Now statistically speaking that probably won’t affect me, but it will however negatively affect some other poor truck driver. Just saying like. Sometimes it’s better to let sleeping dogs lie.

Whatever happens on the drugs charges, he’s still got to explain how he was driving the wrong way down the motorway amd didnt notice. Sounds like he was driving against the other traffic too.
Unless its trace amounts of prescription drugs, I’d say he’s buggered on the drugs front too.
If it was non presc drugs, bye bye driving licence for a long time hopefully.

I made two points here for you but it seems that you have not picked up on them. Please allow me to enlighten you.
I believe personally that it’s quite intelligent indeed to earn a significant amount of money over 4 shifts based on a very good hourly rate so that you can enjoy plenty time at home and do things that you enjoy whilst having a very good standard of life.
I walked you straight into a position where you type on the internet abusive, offensive and targeted comments aimed at professional LGV drivers whom you claim to work alongside.
Based on the above, and also as another poster commented, I think it is right and proper that you give us your number. If you have nothing to worry about, it should be no problem. Unless you are NOT a serving police officer in which case I believe it is an offence to impersonate one.
So please reply with your number as I fully intend to make a formal complaint about you to the police. If you don’t have the courage to do so, I fully understand.
see if you can get boss hogg to grass him up as apparantly he has nearly crashed into him twice on the m6.
i wouldnt hold my breath though as its apparant its just another professor of fridges having a niggle.
