My most major ■■■■ up using sat nav was when I was at Transalliance.
I had an address, complete with postcode, a PO Box No, the name of the company and a contact name. I also had local knowledge. But still made myself look a complete prat. Somehow I doubt I was the first or will be the last.
I foolowed the instruction which took me left onto an industrial estate, told me to turn left and informed me that I had reached my destination. I wandered off with notes in my hand and got blank looks.
I found a postman in a van, then another and half a dozen more, I also discovered that this little post office parcel depot was near a school and all the little darlings were leaving with their mummies. My truck was surrounded, the lorry was blocked in with cars abandoned all around. It took me almost an hour to extricate myself as the cab phone kept ringing as the customer wanted me to know where I was.

Anyone who gets a delivery to Delphi Lockheed Automotive in Warwick, it is in Tachbrook Park Leamington Spa and not at the postal address on the documents.
