1906 Dennis Lorry

Tony Hutchings sent me these pictures seeking help to identifying the make of lorry ? he thinks it might be a 1906 Dennis but would like confirmation prior to selling them, regards Big Al

I’ve a lot of lorry books including the “Illustrated History of Dennis”. All the early lorries appear to have a straight front axle, an even number of spokes [6 or 8] on the front wheels and big round domed hub caps. So maybe not Dennis?

The only pointer towards a Dennis that I can see is the absence of any chain drive equipment. What looks like a normal style rear axle that they were famous for patenting so early. But an interesting find and hope someone can come up with some other ideas.Mike.

I have searched through quite a few sites but drawn a blank.
Couldn’t find anything with 7 spoked wheels / solid tyres.
Perhaps the remains are of european origin?

Send the pics off to Vintage Roadscene magazine, someone on there will have an answer.

Hope these might help
I have a photo of it outside the Dennis Bros factory but it won’t upload
Not sure on the year though.
