18 months with no night heater

toby1234abc:
I am sure there are certain temperatures an employer has a legal duty to supply heat or air con for the summer and winter, i am not sure what they are, factory workers would not be allowed to freeze while they work, or get too hot in the summer, the same for office workers.
For LGV drivers, does this rule apply to us or not?
You can not beat a night heater to dry the clothes that you gave got wet in while tipping in the rain.

Air con = Windows
Night heater = Truck heaters

I’ve not slept out YET, but when i do i will inform you, but not having air con would not bother me at all.

No mention of the time off at short notice to go to solicitors, no mention of borrowing hos car, no mention of the prompt payments when he went without, mo mention of useing his van to move house no mention of giving him work to suit, no mention of payong his phone bills no mention of hos efforts to
Sort the night heater twoce or the thousand pound he paid to get heater sorted and no mention that the night heater did work when it was cold, im just guessing here but it might be possible that you may have just put a one sided case on your posting, but hey what would i know.

Just saying ,now kiss my Arse and crack on with it slacker.

My advice is you cannot drive the truck without the heated mirrors working. I think you should quit and move on because that’s terrible to work under those conditions
