15 hour last shift

My manager told me that my last shift in a week has to be a standard daily rest, meaning on Fridays I cannot work more than 13 hour. Doesn’t make sense to me so can somebody confirm that please?

If you have not used all of your 3 reduced daily rests? Then I see no reason why you cannot use one on your last shift of a work week.

If you have used all 3, then the last shift must be a full daily rest meaning a max of 13hrs start/end time.
(Unless it is a split rest with a solid 3hrs off during the shift of course making it a full rest anyway)

Standard daily rest Friday can’t be more than 13 hours?.
I wouldn’t complain be an early finish then.
As a ove unless you’ve used up all your 15 hours. Or maybe they have plans for your next day in which they haven’t told you yet?

Surely if you intend to do a 15 hr shift on your last shift you risk not getting home , I think 13 hrs is to much on the last shift of the week but it does at least give you 2 hrs Le way to make sure you do get home to your wife / partner / kids etc .
Money doesn’t buy you happiness !!

As others have said, as long as you have not had more than two reduced daily rest periods since the last weekly rest period there is nothing to stop you legally having a reduced daily rest period of no less than 9 hours on the last shift of the working week.
