Hi guys
quick question, does anyone know the best way to get a 12v feed. I have found another power plug but there is no power to it and having read in the manual it says it is only for 10amp whereas the stereo I want to fit needs a 15amp supply.
many thanks

Guess not. Ah well thanks for looking anyway.
Iveco probably has a 12v stereo fitted already, only Mercedes use 24v radios as far as I know.
Suggest you look at whats already fitted and/or get a multimeter on the wires
Yeah done that and it is a 24v fitted. there is a spare plug behind it that is used for iveco dropper but only good for 10a the stereo I want to fit needs 15a so I guess I’ll just have to figure out how to get a feed from the fusebox and fit a dropper.
Thanks anyway
Buy and fit a voltage dropper, drop the 24v down to 12 and wire in your radio. Safest and easiest way to do it
You dont need to come from the fuse box, theres bound to be a 24v ignition live somewhere, cigarette lighter or plug for extra work lights or something, wire it into that. Just make sure its fused
All there is near the stereo is an interior light and the tacho so nothing to take it from. Ah well I’ll sort it.
Cheers

They’re all 24volt these days except the scania and volvo. There is a 12volt feed in a daf but standard stereos run off 24
