what i have learned so far…

Car drivers are complete MORANS
vosa … say no more
Watch your speed. Its so easy to get caught out.
When over taking watch your rear swing when coming back in. Not everybody will flash you in so dont expect it

When you pass your test its great. Then the fun really begins. My advise is do not take any chances and never trust a banksman.

Watch ya driving time and working hours and know where ya gonna take breaks. Plan ahead for breaks / night stops etc.

Get a truck nav with weight, height settings as the 7.5 limits sneak up on ya  i got a pro drive of ebay for £95 and does the job fine.

Enjoy your day and relax. Dont get rushing about and taking risks as this will get you stressed and cause accidents

Prepare for long hours and night outs if on general haulage
Thats all from me

Really good advice, so often the basics are over looked.
I had my licence since 1987 and havent driven a class 2 for 23 years so effectively a newbie in my new role.

This is a mantra in any job especially driving

Enjoy your day and relax. Dont get rushing about and taking risks as this will get you stressed and cause accidents

Though I have drove buses for 17 years in the distant past

Good post DWYNE :sunglasses:
