While having some sympathy with Moomooland’s and 240Gardner’s point of view, I think it best if at all possible to attribute anything you copy from elsewhere, it only takes a minute. I see many people write ‘nmp’ sometimes. I don’t go that far if I don’t know the origin or ownership but do attribute if I can.
I do believe though that it is not a rule of this site to do so, only an encouragement, which seems about right to me.
Many years ago here, there was a great debate, and a vote, about fuzzing or not fuzzing reg. nos. of vehicles in photos. My opinion at the time was that they are already in the public domain simply by being on the road, and I am pleased to see that that view seems to be current here nowadays.
