Yes I had the same symptoms as you , peeing every 5 mins which I thought maybe diabetis , my original phone call was for that & itching all over , doc suggested maybe prostrate related ( though got told I was diabetic at same time ) , they found a lump on prostrate & psa was 8 ( yours at 5 sounds nigh on normal ) lower than mines for sure ( my last one was 9.1 , been over 20 ) , but Gleason score was 6 ,only found cancer on 3 of original biopsy 18 ) , 2 nd biopsy consultant said suprisingly found no sign of cancer ( though urology nurse says there is .
My consultant / urology nurse have been stars , I’ve struggled with biopsy’s , didn’t like them at all , went asleep on 2 nd one , then really suffered
Keep us updated as maybe one day it’s a road I’ll have to head down , though I’ve said I’ll not have another biopsy , just take it away
