I’m on “own account” Class 1 work (although the transport function is outsourced to a “Logistics” company who actually employ me). 99% of the time my planned start is either 0500 or 0600, although I regard it as being a rough target rather than set in stone (I’ll adjust it to suit my own requirements). Finish time is generally 8.5 -9.5 hours after the start time (although often quite a bit earlier).
