I’ve had a Tom Tom 6000 for about 4 years. It’s extremely slow, laggy and occasionally crashes for no apparent reason. Route planning to destinations that are in weight limits such as building sites is laughable, it seems to think only the first few yards are a limit so will try and send you down a very unsuitable street or lane then join the weight limited road further along lol. Also, why don’t they show what the bridge height or weight limit is on the screen like my old snooper used to do?
The 2 things positive I can say is the mag mount and the traffic services are very good.
I bought a snooper s2000 way back in about 2005ish and it was brilliant so I’d look at snoopers. Only issue is, I don’t think they have traffic information still….or do they now?
Work will buy me another if my current Tom Tom packs in completely, is the 6250 significantly better than the 6000?
