It’s all theoretical anyways, Turners man got caught, my former colleage did not.
But what I was intending to convey was that the Turner’s guy taking 25 L or more at a time would be likely to stand out, especially if it was not a daily occurence, becasuse there would be fluctuations in usage with no regular pattern.
Whereas my former colleague regularly taking 10L every day would be unlikely to be noticed because there would be a constant difference between his fuel economy and that of another driver, such as me, as I was sharing the same vehicle with him. If would just appear that he was more heavy footed than me.
