It doesn’t matter what happened in the past “bad”, but how we learn from that experience and don’t repeat “Bad” as the knee-jerk response to new, and evolving dangers facing us in our futures.
“Churchill Good/Churchill Bad” - is a useless cause.
More effort needs to be made on “Establishment Good/Establishment Bad” since we hapless citizens insist on voting in people who promise to “screw us more gently than the outgoing government they hope to replace”.
We need a fourth strong party on our ballot papers, just to rid Westminster of enough “Career Politicians” to sharpen their minds a bit of those that survive such a “purge”…

These establishment chumps - are not “Conviction Politicians”, but rather just “Those who should BE convicted” for what they’ve done already… 
If we’d left the EU properly by this point, our government could go "Sorry bud, Ukaine is not our ally, nor even a member of NATO - and we are not obliged to throw our entire population under the bus to bail YOU out, because YOU don’t have more Yuman Rights than WE do HERE."
