Bear in mind this is forty-one years ago. The featured Holden Torana started life as an HB Torana (Viva to you lot),. By 1979 the third generation Torana had grown to about Vauxhall Victor size and was available with four and six cylinder engines or a five litre V8.
Bathurst is a public road, but as a racetrack is one of the best in the world (IMO), up there with Nuremberg.
This one’s a bit of an infomercial, but if you can put the over-acted Ockerism aside, quite interesting. It opens a window to the fun and adventures we can enjoy.
