Reports today that the UK have fired-up (literally!) a coal-powered power station to meet electricity consumption due to the price of gas and lack of wind to keep the windmills spinning. I guess there is a plan…somewhere but not, apparently, in the UK.
They must be having some fresh coal in because the coal that’s there is going to be burnt in the tunstead cement plant
