How many of us are ex forces?

With rememberance day coming up I was just wondering how many of us are ex forces?
Myself, I’m ex army and served from 89-99 in the RAOC and RLC.

i am…served with 1st Bn royal welch fusiliers from 93-99

I was in the Cubs never made the Scouts , illegal trial bike riding filled that gap , oh happy days :wink:

Did go for interviews at Army Careers but that was mainly to have day off school.

I have upmost respect for all that do join and serve in the forces. :sunglasses:

I was in the sea cadets

Royal Artillery, 1996-2008, osnabruck, Germany.

Gunners, 5 Heavy then 29 Cdo, 78 til 87, keeping them Russkies at bay. Think we lost in the end!

Apparently 1 in 5 of stobart drivers are ex forces or was it 1 in 10, think they said both numbers in trucks n trailers, just 1 of the many continuity errors on that program, bring on the next series :slight_smile:

Ex-REME. The ■■■■■■■■ gave me a HGV licence as part of my trade training. When I left the army I did lorry driving as a quick 6 month stop gap job until I could find something in my trade. SIXTEEN YEARS LATER I finally gave up truck driving due to ill health.
