Workshop Supplies - any recommendadtions?

Can anyone recommend a good UK based online supplier of workshop supplies.
Specifically looking for auto-workshop supplies… electric cable, terminals, heat shrink etc

Has anyone had any good and reliable suppliers?

Don’t discount ebay. Often find the same thing cheaper than trade counters (remember it’s likely inc vat on there). Do need to plan ahead though if delivery is by post.

Screwfix is worth a look.

You don’t mention whereabouts you are. There are several companies running vans stocked with exactly what you are looking to source. They may not necessarily be the cheapest, but a weekly or less frequent visit can be very helpful. A good way of keeping them on their toes is to have two rival companies supplying, calling on different days. Some of these are willing to supply imprest stock. However it is done the overall spend on workshop consumeables is always frighteneing.

A bit like ■■■■ to me!
Lots of woodworking tools with hand planes what are things of beauty. Sad eh?

They do all sorts though, and lots of stuff you don’t normally see in shops…

Just don’t have a Barclays with a wood plain, you’ll turn yourself Jewish :stuck_out_tongue:

Give wurth a try… Can have a rep pop in show new products and offers etc, an place orders with them or order online!
Easy to set up an account, and sensible prices!
Good tools range too with lifetime gaurntee!
We used them when we ran a small amateur race team, they have a surprising range of products.

Things of beauty indeed buddy :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t like eBay, it’s all over the place. Confuses the hell out of me. It’s a bit like jungle.
