Sensitive tooth

I have a tooth which has become pretty sensitive over the last few months :frowning: due to some gum recession where i’ve over done it a bit too much with the cleaning  the dentist did recommend a make of toothpaste for sensitive teeth but i just wondered if any of you out there use anything for this problem and does it work ?

It may not always be your tooth! I went to a dentist with the symptoms for ages. They could find nothing wrong with my teeth.
Then the dentist suggested it was blocked sinuses. She was right!!!

It’s a tooth ok the dentist told me, apparently over zealous teeth cleaning has worn away a small section of gum exposing a bit of the root which is sensitive to hot/cold things and was recommended to get some kind of sensitive easing toothpaste.

Sensodyne then.
