Looks like the original Mk8 gun. First fitted to a Royal Navy ship in 1973, used in the Type 21 and 23 frigates and Type 42 and 82 destroyers. The later Mk8’s were redesigned to take advantage of stealth technology so took on a different, more angular, appearance.
