Was out in a truck with a fella yesterday here in NI,
ex H&R with them for about 5yrs just wife and him lived in truck.
He has PR but yet came back “home” to live/work here in NI,
thought that wild strange :exclamation: :exclamation: :confused:

Not strange really. Both Canada and the UK are both very different, yet equal first world countries and both have a lot to offer and plenty to complain about. For some the balance tips towards Canada and for others towards the UK or whatever other western European country they come from.

I took the Via rail train from Toronto to Vancouver, it was hell of a ride that takes a few days over mountains, valleys and prairies.
The train left late, so at night, the driver put his foot down when nobody would notice to make up for lost time.
I saw a grain freight train of about 100 carriages on it’s side after crashing .
The restaurant on board was very good .
I slept on the floor of the observation carriage to save money on a cabin .
The scenery was amazing and you can meet nice people from all walks of life .
