5th wheel you got it right there: There is virtually NO reporting on the situation in Europe by any of main TV channels.
On Spanish news we get a bit about the borders with Portugal being closed (for a long period) and Portugal in virtual lockdown, which has been effective.
How about Ireland? Anyone know what is happening there? Seen anything on the TV? No. Ireland has one of the highest per capita contagion rates. Govt. offices completely shut down. I know because I’ve applied for my Paddy passport and the Govt. websites tell you they are shut down because they are in LEVEL 5. Just a week ago some areas back into level 4. Bearing in mind the UK has an “open” border with Ireland you would have thought it warranted some comment on the TV.
As we are no longer in the EU, perhaps that is old news. If you want that info. watch Euro News!
On a similar tack This morning in India 50 people died in a hospital fire, there is a missing Indonesian submarine in the east and it is thought there is no oxygen left onboard, a huge international operation to try and locate it…any mention on the BBC? Nada, nowt, nichts. Lets have a 5 min slot on the Oscars.

Gazzer why for you wanting a nicknack passport, is it summit to do with the 90 day rule ? Hey the Oscars are important dont you know for those who love themselves, moving on the BBC had over 100,000 complaints on the coverage of the death of the Duke last week, BBC 1 & 2 ran identical footage at the same time for a solid 8hrs, did they not think it would ■■■■ off some of the nation. Personally I think he had a very cherished lifestyle paid for by the tax payers of this country, plenty of holiday trips all round the world FOC but others are royalist’s and think thats fine and dandy but not me, chairs Buzzer.

Your spot on again John , Doh !, about The Duke of E. I said to Anne yesterday well from the day he married Her Maj in 1947 he has been on the “Gravy Train” for 70 odd years regardless of all the BS spouted about his “do gooding” but nice work if you can it eh! So no need to get jealous John as we wern’t born ( well I was a few months old IIRC) so we’ve just had to work hard for for what we have got !! Cheers Dennis.

I agree entirely Buzzer, you couldn’t get away from the Phil the Greek saga!

Not just Greek gazzer, think Heinz would be appropriate or liquorice allsort’s multi cultural me thinks, Buzzer.

Yes john, the dreaded 90 day rule…

Today on the transport front Wallace & Gromit loaded for South of France, today on the farming front bought 30 Charolais steers private from one farm, Buzzer

Who gives a toss who paid for Boris’ flat refurb when it wasn’t tax payers money that funded it?

Gazzer totally agree with you about Boris, why cant the BBC & the Labour party and others just see the good in the man, none of us are perfect but dont think any one else could have handled this pandemic any better as well as trying to get the Great back into Britain. Below the two party animals on there way to the French Riviera, Laurel & Hardy.

Hope those Kermit Angles Morts things are of the magnetic variety, absolutely destroy a fine livery, in my humble of course.

Bloody stupid frog law, they can think up things like that but cant organise a decent Covid vaccination program, Buzzer.

Yes it is, Buzzer

Nice to see you have bought some new steers Buzzer. Have you collected them yet ?

We have a few Inland Clearance places, and a few more have been planned/ are being built, but aren’t open yet. That is partly the reason we are not yet doing the import checks we said we would.
We have import delays still to look forward to. [emoji3]

Since Buzzer mentioned Laurel and Hardy, here is another picture of them.

Some of you apparently don’t care who our politicians take money from. That amazes me after the numerous posts from Buzzer about “snouts in the trough”!
I do care where their money comes from.
I don’t want a judge to take money from a prosecutor, or a politician to take money from any group.
.
I am not a fan of the present resident of NoTen. Not just because of his politics (whatever they are today) but because he is a dishonest person.
I was certainly no fan of Mrs Thatcher politically, but recognise she was an honest and hard working PM. How different to the proven liar we now have representing the UK.
.

Hi Buzzer,
I had a chat with a lad who works for our Scania dealer and was on about a cruise he went on a few years ago he mentioned that he took a pic of some DIT motors that were supplying the ship, in Italy I think, he reckons the pic is on the wall in your office and asked if it was still there? Must have been around the time you bought those R480’s, Cheer’s Pete

Pete not sure if that picture is there as I tend not to notice but will look next time ime in the office.

Dean the 30 Charolais steers I bought on Monday got delivered on an artic today, we unloaded them on to my 7.5 ton MAN truck which was four loads as we have just had the block paving cleaned and I dont think the Boss would be to happy if they crapped all over it and it only takes 20 minuets to wash the truck out so the best option, a few pictures of them below just got to run them through the crush to worm & blackleg jab them then they can go out to grass. Need some more rain though as very dry and we have only had dust dampeners so far, chairs Buzzer.

Nice to see the new steers Buzzer. I know what you mean about it being dry and needing some rain have been watering this
last week in the garden.

Always liked going via the Vent all tunnels & viaducts some times a necessity because of permits etc but very scenic all the same, Mork & Mindy continue there working relationship this week holding hands every step of the way, Buzzer.

Evening Buzzer

Well it’s been another busy week up ere spent today injecting lambs and getting the fertiliser on ready for the rain thats coming on Monday, also getting our two Limi heifers ready for the Limi sale at Carlisle next Friday. It takes time washing clipping and halter training so lets hope it pays off in the ring.

Cheers Wrighty.

Being ignorant of Agri matters Wrighty but are those two fine specimens destined for onward breeding duties or are they destined for butching ? Oh! and I hope we are due a bit of rain but only enough for the job and not a frigging deluge ( which we will probably get !) Cheers Dennis.
