I can do the basics with a pc but that’s about the lot ,so a lot of new cars are appearing minus CD player , Mrs has hundreds and wants a car with a CD player so how do you transfer a cd onto memory stick so we’re not limited car choice wise , a very basic way of doing it would be best .

You’ll need to check the file format of the USB stick is compatible with the car. If not you’ll need to reformat it. NTFS usually works.
You’ll need a software app to rip the CDs to Mp3 format. During this process you set the album, artist and song titles.
Rip each album to it’s own folder on your PC.
Copy the folders you have created to the USB stick.
Try it out in the car and see if it works.
You’ll find a lot won’t rip because of copyright software written into the cd.
Get it on her phone then Bluetooth it into the radio etc
