How weird - I started reading this thread, and felt compelled to register to reply. At the bottom, who do I see but my beloved.
He is right, we do argue less, because we don’t see each other.
The problem of him being away (actually, recently, it’s been 3-4 nights out) can be a bit of a pain sometimes, but as he says, he was in the forces. I just count my blessings as he is now at home for christmas, and even new year. I see him every week - end at least, and he could be out there doing a lot worse than driving a lorry. life aint that bad.
