Baldrick 1953 , I remember Merve the Swerve , I think he was from Bath ? A thoroughly decent bloke I knew on Portuguese runs , he once rolled over his truck and since then securely stowed away the bottle jacks and other objects that hurt if they hit your head .RIP.
Hi toby1234abc Merv did come from Bath he was often called the Mayor of Bath Affectionately.
Was the accident you refer to when he slid down the road on his windscreen at Spirito Sancti or
a different one.He was a Great friend to me and many more who knew him.
He is going to be laid to rest at 1130 on the 4th of May so raise a glass to him then for old times.
