What critical loads have we been hauling this week?

Normally on keg work but that’s died for obvious reasons,all fleet switched to small pack work now..
All the kegs that are sat in warehouses and pubs e.t.c will need collecting at some point as it will be going out of date and needs distroying,kegs will need washing out ready(if ever) to refill and restock..
I’d made plans to do jobs around the house thinking I’d be stood down but ain’t happening just yet

Sterile water, saline drips and other fluids for the hospitals. Needless to say volumes are hugely up over normal as the hospitals gear up for when the Covid-19 patients start arriving in numbers.

The beef we take out to France is all for the restaurant trade so no demand at the minute, so it has all been diverted to the UK supermarkets.

Our regular Rungis has been cancelled.

Keep working, down to the employers to say yes. or no? can workers afford to say no?
I only posted, after reading the various threads here on TN, that some people seem to think unless trucks are carrying bog rolls, baked beans, or ventilators, they shouldn't be out, we don't want a virtual lynch mob looking for the drivers

Doesn't really matter what we carrying just doing stuff for now makes a difference. Even if it's just a lot of trucks carrying non essential stuff it shows we out and about.

Be good to see a breakdown of how many of those who are shouting that we must all stay at home, are retired.. And how many of those who are (were) working, actually do as they preach, and took SSP when self isolating.
