That was an old model Super Hippo Dean probably had a leyland 600 unit under the bonnet interesting though.
I wasn’t the only one who drove ours.
We had 3 Super Hippos over the years mine originally had a Leyland 690 engine which destroyed itself as a lot did with the rear mounted turbo, it seized on the rear main.
The green one had a Rolls Eagle mk 3 engine set at 305hp good at night when it was cold but impossible to keep cool during the day it destroyed itself.It had a factory built sleeper similar to the Crusaders.
I repowered mine with a 220 ■■■■■■■ 13speedR/R was good to drive I never pulled triples with it but doubles it handled well.
