I have 7 hrs 15 mins left out of my 60 hours i know if i have breaks say 1 hour 15 mins that extends it to max 8.30 hrs to be on 60 without going over i think tonights work and to get back will be 10 hrs can i extend my hours with poa somehow so i don t go over 60 hours thank you in advance as i don t know much about poa

Its working time yes i do know what hours i ve got i ve got 7.15 left out of my 60 after breaks as i never use poa i was told you can extend your hours with poa but i don t believe that to me i thought break and poa are basically the same to reduce your hours i ve never went over before so just asking if poa helps or not if its better than break ? I reckon about 6 hrs driving to do job maybe 7 got plenty drive time its working time thanx

This is the way i ve been doing it blooming busy week i had extra 9 off as unit getting serviced so took card out for over 3 hours break i might be ok tonight last night but might go over by 1 hour don t know if you get funed of vosa for wtd

If are doing no work, and have some idea of how long you have free, you can book POA. If you are needed to tip or load etc you can’t.
If you have paid breaks, that may be easier to use.

I agree.
It looks like you’ve done less than 46.5 hours working time since 00:00 Monday.
The 60 hours working time per week is 00:00 Monday to 24:00 Sunday, so depending on what breaks you had Monday morning you’ve probably got about 13 hours working time left this week.
Just curious…are you paid during poa?
Yes POA can extend the length of your shift as it basically stops the clock so take advantage of it at every opportunity if you’re tight on time.
