Morning Buzzer

First day of semi retirement was spent gathering the fell to get our yows down to tail and dip ready for the tups, good job we did it yesterday as this morning it’s wet and windy and visibility on the tops will be very poor. Not too bad a job with plenty of staff with quad bikes and dogs, there are only four farmers who now use the fell as the rest have sold their “sheep gaits” to the owners of the grouse shooting.
Busy three days at work on Tuesday I was down at Chilcomb delivering and collecting tractors, I collected a demo tractor that had been used for ploughing on a local farm and the flint had shredded the tyres and not a cheap job replacing tractor tyres…

Cheers Wrighty.
