It looks that most British coaches and buses of the '50s, '60s and '70s were built using a body made by various coachbuilders on standard chassis. Did big manufacturers as Leyland or AEC provide standard bodies? In France, Berliet, Saviem and Chausson fitted their own bodywork as standard offers, and coachbuilders were sollicitated whem more comfort was needed.
