PAUL GEE's PHOTO COLLECTION (Part 1)

I saw the R logo on the radiator and put two and two together and got FIVE! This is the first time I have heard of this marque.

It was built by a company formed by Frank Manton in 1947 who started building his own trucks called the Manton.
The company itself was called Motor Traction Ltd of New Addington near Croydon, but was sometimes referred to also as Manton Motors.
Only a few were built and sold in the UK which were known as ‘Rutland’ they didn’t last long as in 1957 the company ceased trading.
