Wheres Wolfie

Occasionally stop there for a 45 minute Break. It’s a lovely peaceful location in the Summer months, but just wandering around looking at the names on the headstones (and the even bigger list on the wall) always leaves me feeling very humble. Getting on for 4,000 graves there, with over 5,000 names on the wall of those “missing”. Very much a far flung corner of a foreign field for those men - the vast majority of them had probably never even travelled outside their own country (or even their own State) before being sent off to fight thousands of miles from home.
