5thwheel:
Back on a dodgy one night, parked up on waste ground behind the shops, done it before ,no problem.
Back in the morning, some low life had not only syphoned the tanks dry, also pinched both the 12v batteries!!so a rather fraught phone call to the workshop to get some juice and batteries before the gaffer arrived at 10.00AM!!
Take it easy,
David
I know of one Lancashire driver who parked at home when he shouldnât have, many years ago, and didnât even notice in the morning that someone had had all the wheels off the back axle of his tandem-axle trailer - he just jumped in and drove. All the wheelnuts were still there on the kerb! And so he (was) moved on to pastures newâŚ
I remember picking a Barnsley BRS driver up at the Oakamoor cafe on the A38 and dropped him at Tinsley.Heâd parked the trailer wheels over his sheets for safety.Next morning I called in the Oakamoor for a brew and the BRS driver was there with trailer minus wheels and sheets.

One of our Daventry based Atkis had the 4 back wheels nicked one night(near new they were as well)so it was reported to Plod and we got him fixed up with re-placements.About 2 or 3 months later we got a call from N/amptonshire Plod to say that they pulled a van and in the back were 4 Mich wheels and tyres and they think they are ours! They were! bingo! A million to one chance eh! Dennis.
