Just got my 2015/16 payslip £37177 not including nights out,is that about average? Ime averaging 60 hours a week 11.20 basic 16.80 after 9 hours, were based in Bedfordshire, normally 1 drop no back loads.1st rule of Trucknet - someone’s ■■■■ is always bigger
2nd rule of Trucknet - see rule 1
3rd rule is dont be a ■■■■ cos someone will qoute your post so when you realise youve been a ■■■■ it will still be there for all to see
4th rule If you discover an o/post where somebody has made a ■■■■ of himself, quote it quick before he removes it…as he has !

I have never been one to boast, it just displays insecurity.
In fact I was just talking about this the other night to my 20yr old model girlfriend coming down the drive to our 7 bed home in the Aston Martin.
So that’s why you own a magnet and are never home , always out tramping …to put fuel in the wife’s Aston and pay the sodding mortgage !

Robroy doesn’t have a mortgage, cleared the last 200k last year using his fuel bonus…
post deleted, too much Horlicks last night I think !!
Most likely covers that much mileage in a shift, that has to drive like a prat boot to the floor, that he has not enough time to do more than a straight run and one drop.
I got 50 grand for driving the wagon than I got my wages from the MOD as I’m also in the SAS
but I have to keep that quiet sorry couldn’t resist it I’ll shut up now

Take your figures, reverse the order, add 200, divide by 2, take away the number you first thought of then times by ten and you’ll come up with a figure nothing like my wages!

Ray’s on about his own post that he’s edited. He was boasting about how he could earn £60k+ but chooses to only work half the year instead. Agency sailor.

Ah Ray! Why did you delete your post? The life of an agency sailor on the ocean wave!
Did you wake up in your cabin all hungover, parrot no where to be seen? Hobbling about looking for your misplaced wooden peg leg? Scratching your head as to why the boats oven grill smelt a bit “parroty” ? Further confused trying to work out “where in fact did last nights kebab come from”?
Then you suddenly remembered your bold trucknet post and realised you were talking our of your bum? You can tell us, we’re all friends here

Haha, Definitely not agency as the marine types are bigger bloody crooks than the normal ones. There are two skippers on here and we do month and month about normally but doing longer this time so more dosh and when on leave sometimes do a bit of moonlighting for other owners which goes towards my ‘toys’.

Didn’t go ashore so no kebab, and the parrot was on anther ship. Mr Whyte & Mackay were my drinking buddies last night and normally limit myself to three but I think I lost count. I never woke up with a hangover and no I wasn’t talking out of me bum
Daren’t say what my ‘toys’ are cos I would be ridiculed … oh sod it, BMW’s
