We got he same as the last 5 Christmases I have been there …Jack [zb]although the Staff and managers from all the depots got a party and bonus as usual…nice to be appreciated) A real ‘‘them and us’’ firm.
(To be fair the guy that runs our depot came out with a few of us and bought us a few pints, but nothing official was planned for us by the co. It’s self.)A firm that I worked for once paid for us all a ■■■■ up, a show, and a hotel in Blackpool, and other years a meal voucher for the drivers and their family in each of our local restaurants (we were all out based at home) good days and a good co. to work for, and it made all the difference to your attitude to work, a lot of firms don’t see that.

My brother makes bouncy castles and the other is a manager in the building trade.
I know a few others that receive a handsome sum of money too,

Nothing as yet, apart from I still have a job in January as I have just done my probation, got 2 pay cheques to collect so I could still be in for a treat, will keep you updated.

Was at a job the other day and the guy I know there came in with a big grin on his face.
He’d just been told his bonus for the year (and all the other 650 members of staff there).
£3k each, plus a £100k drink and food tab for a party in a big marquee in the grounds of the company.
Bet they didn’t do much work the day after!

My bonus is being allowed to come back and do it all again next year

They get paid very well as it is… very well indeed.
Lets just say the company doesn’t bat an eyelid at a few hundred thousand quid here and there, its small fry to them. They’d spend more than that on a few wheel nuts.
Nope, I’m agency. I don’t even get full holiday pay for the 9 days I am required to have off.
1/2 a day off, go karting afternoon, 3 course meal, and a free bar. I’m not complaining 
3k sounds good too though!
I got a parking ticket deducted from my wages (£65) and know one even bothered to tell me, thanks! By the way the company pays for parking tickets as I was told. Tossers!!
