WTD Break

This still doesn’t explain why I get an infringement if I take less than 30 minutes break before 6 hours duty.

ROG:
RT(WT)R is not really RTD although I use that often to distinguish it from the WTD

R means regulation and D means directive

regulation means EU law like the tacho regs

Directive means the EU requires the UK to make it into law

I think I have remembered that right but am happy to be corrected

:unamused:

The point I was making is that the RTD as you often refer to it is actually the road transport working time regulations 2005 and not the driving/tachograph regulations.

Is it possible that my employer could set tachomaster to give an infringement if I don’t take 30 minutes before 6 hours duty ?

I know you mean working time and not duty time

As the law is 15 mins then its only a company thing

Yes sorry Working not Duty. This is great thanks. Glad I joined the forum now
