She simply could not do the job,but of course you cant say that anymore,so,in my opinion,she set about making life difficult for my employers,in the hope of a payoff.EVERY single conversation she had was noted,wouldnt talk to anyone in the office without witnesses,and,in the end bypassed the union,and dealt with the company,through a solicitor.
I suppose its human nature,treat every one as you find them,and theres plenty of guys like that also. Anyways she got her comeuppance last week,and shes out of my hair.The bit I have left.
Never fails to amaze me why companies put up with people like this.
There is usually a probationary period of 13 weeks, and IIRC a period of much longer before a tribunal would take any interest.
These people can’t be the perfect employee for even 3 months before showing who they really are, so it can only be ■■■■ poor management that fail to spot the idiot signs and get rid of them sharpish before they aquire rights.
These people do their brethren, (women in this case, or other possibly minority groups in the transport workplace) no favours, especially if they pull the ■■■/race/minority card, when its they who are at fault not their minority status, because the employer will probably shy away in future from employing others.

Cant really see why theres such an issue with women truck drivers, certainly they’ll give some of you drama queens a run for ya money 
If they can do the job as well as a man then fair play to them,why should they have to feel as thought they have to continually prove themselves to the male ■■■ … bet you if you went into there shower facilities it would be a dam sight clear than the mens coz really some of the guys in the profession are dirty gits…

Because Juddian,the company I work for wouldnt dare take the risk of being sexist and publicised. They simply couldnt take a chance with bad press.

Haha! Well thats only one of the trucks I drive!! Most of them are TP Green! We only get the odd pink one!

We’ve just had a 20 yr old woman join us and a good driver too apparently, and we have another female and she can also drive a truck well.
