Women in Haulage

good luck Ioza, and to all the other ladies new to truck driving

I’ve got my theory books and been reading through a little bit every day. I’m one of those people who needs to read it a few times before it sinks in!

Been looking around at a few trainers in my area (I’m in Bradford) and I’ve spoken to a few. I think I’m going to plan on visiting some in the next few weeks to see what I think.

Looking at my holidays at work it’ll be April before I start any practical training unless I can get some weekends in.

Thanks for all your help

I had the disc used to do a few on a morning then later on then lucy time ish then just after tea ( only done about 3-4 at a time ) I found this yes for me

I also had the books which I read a few at a time did go back one them a few times as well

if you looked into it and know what you’re going for then ‘go for it’, woman/man makes no difference

look if lifestyle/money/etc suits you that’s all

I’m a woman too, now 46yrs old, done back when I was 20 and slowly getting back into it now, got my HGV 1 back then

sorry this is quick as am at work :grimacing:
