Woman Jailed for Causing Crash with Truck

Juddian, please, do not remind some of today’s trucking fraternity of when a lorry driver had a brain and was expected to use it… you will be considered a dinosaur and the ruination of the job by the ‘not my job, get someone else to come 60 mile to change a light bulb’ brigade !!

Hah Raymundo i like being a dinosaur, and i’m bloody well going to continue to be one and, like Frank, do it my way till they cart me off kicking and screaming in the yellow van, or in a box, sod 'em… :smiling_imp:

No this one is much better looking anyway. But as I said I’d have been zb disappointed as I crawled out of the wreckage and asked her for a snog to show no hard feelings and then she pointed to the four others with her. :open_mouth: As for past it tell that to Ronnie Wood. :smiling_imp:

haha, like it mate you have a sense of humour after all, but must disagree with you Ronnie Wood comment, if you was his wife who would she be thinkin off during the ‘act’ if it even took place ! seen less wrinkles on a walnut!

As I said mate young and daft.
Stupid, [zb] dangerous and downright irresponsible granted, but young and daft.
Did you not do stupid things you would not dream of doing today? …I know I did

I wouldn’t class myself out of that category yet, I’m only 21 and passed at 18, but doing this job at this age means I respect the roads a lot more than other people do at my age. At what point did you start driving for a living, I’d guess it was after that?

what has that got to do with it? I spent most of my life going in my old mans truck witnessed some horrific accidents over the years yet still had a touch of being invincible when I first got into a car.
eventually it caught up with me I smashed my car up trying to make a friend sick in the back - I am not proud of it but it happened and by Christ did I learn from it and quick.

someone put a post on social media the other day about a scheme they had trialled in Belgium I think where new passed drivers were asked to drive and text whilst missing a series of cones etc. 1 driver almost broke down in tears trying to do this.

With so many safety devices on modern cars, people lose sight of how vulnerable they are.
I think instead of air bags, a big spike in the middle of the steering wheel would make them think a bit more!

When I look back to my yoof, I sometimes wonder how I made it through without a scratch.

Hooligan (no other word for it  ) stunts and speeds all on skinny crossplies, drum brakes and one possibly two working shock absorbers.

But and a big but. I would never pull a stunt like this girl did, wtf was she thinking :open_mouth:

Impeccable character? Texting and dangerous driving with yourself and your friends lives tells a lot about their character to me… Impeccable is far from the word I’d use.

+1…im glad im older now and it becomes harder to remember some of them, :open_mouth:
