Mm. The Scottish truck stop thread got me thinking. Follow my thoughts sports fans.
If its pelmets and tasseled curtains you pine for, why settle for Chinese truckstop fodder when you can pop along to Laura Ashley and get some heavy weight full fashioned affairs with nice floral design or a weeping willow?
If its the “let’s pretend we’re in the 1970s driving my Peterbilt” ironic motif you’re going for, again. Why settle for truckstop copies? Get the real deal. Speak to the Indian restaurants, or write to the strip clubs in Soho. Ask them who makes their curtains up and buy the real deal. The quality will pay you back.

Have just watch 15 minutes (Couldn’t stand watching it after that) of Truckers / Stobarts (being shown on Foxtel her in Oz) with that Mark Dixon lad - does he love his self or what ! they should just rename the program Mark Dixon with his less than funky Pelmets - never new trunking could be so glamorous
I heard his ego got so big,and his attitude so bad,at a depot down south that one of his collegues had had enough and he got a bit of a kicking down the side of the trailer he was hooking into it.
Course im taking it with a pinch of salt and assuming in reality its just RDC bull but still,its a nice thought!

speaking of mark dixon, have you seen the spotters? bunch a sados in my opinion, dixon’s fans are just about drooling over him because he has a new lorry and not revealing the name.

I’ve got a mate that used to work with him & he told me that Mr. Dixon used to walk around the supermarket wearing his uniform even when off-duty just to be recognized .
Apparently ditched his wife & ran off with one of his fans…
