I passed George Pringle’s Scania 142E east bound on the M62 about 1630 hours friday 2nd Oct around about Hartshead Services.
It was loaded with a Pickfords Scammell Contractor looked like it was going to a show. regards Big Al

Proberly Graham Booths Scammell.
anyone got any pictures of the t cab or is it still being painted ?
Saw it last night in Hamilton Retail Park, Still white, with SNT on the name board, think it has new chassis lockers and new sunvisor kind of like Mr Vains.
thought cammy young had bought the t cab im confused
SCT sold there T-Cab 580 to Cammy Young, its ex driver, Will Pringle, took the PETT and left SCT, even though he was offered another truck (According to T&D mag). He declined and left, SNT Transport snapped up a diff T-Cab 580 and hired Will Pringle as the driver of it, presumably because they want to put it to show through TIME, and they know hes daft enough to spend his own hard earned, and waste all of his weekends polishing, waxing, ■■■■■■■ or whatever else it takes, to get it to that standard.

Yes Rob spoke to George last night they were on the way to Utrecht heavy haulage show with Graham’s Pickford Scammell
on board. If you go on Utube and search on George Pringle Heavy Haulage there is a short video of Graham’s daughter driving
George’s 8 wheel 143 Unit at the Utrecht show. While on this thread I would just like to put my ha’peth in ref young Will. Why
all this sniping at the lad, he comes from a haulage family, he will have been weaned on diesel fumes. His Mum carried Will
in her truck when he was still a baby, Pat is a very competant low loader driver as is his father George, his sister works for Stan Robinson
another well known haulage company. I can assure you all Will Pringle has served a long and hard aprenticeship in the world of
heavy haulage and deserves respect not snide personel remarks. Just my point of view folks and not intended to start a flame war.
regards Big Al
Think the snide comments is not against his line of work or his background, more towards his pettyness that he wont drive anything else other than a T-Cab 580.
good luck to the bloke

In T&D’s issue it stated SCT only sold the T-CAB due tro lack of work for it hence the sale but did offer WP another truck and presumably on the same money?? He didnt accept and coincedently (SPL) moves to another job that offers him a 580.
Presuming the T-Cab still in getting painted although Tony530i is on hols this week so maybe he could shed more light?
The SNT T-Cab to me looked hideous on MM website, likely cause it looked odd with no sideskirts, but hey spend a few ££ on it and itll lok great.
Why did SCT sell the T580 and get a R620. If work was slack.

It passed me coming down the bridge at Scarisbrick Marina on the A570 on Tuesday morning - a couple of miles from Graham Booth’s front door and almost home.
I thought the trailer was a bit of overkill, given the load - but it didn’t seem to be impeding progress much.
I can’t find the video?
