Why oh why?

I know this has been done to death before, but why do car drivers drive so slow that they get overtaken by trucks then just as you get level they floor it leaving you in the middle lane :imp:

This doesnā€™t bother me, itā€™s no big deal. If they get out the way and i can pull in, i see no problem.

And why do other truck drivers speed up as your level with their cab so your running at the same speed as them for a few miles until a hill when you can get past them (take a bow the container driver on the M1) :unamused:

Iā€™m probably guilty of this, if someoneā€™s overtaking me at 2 mph faster than me when iā€™m loaded, iā€™m not easing off and losing my momentum, and spending a fortnight trying to get back up to speed, especially if thereā€™s a hill coming up.

I had it yesterday with someone trying to pass me on the M20 going towards Dartford, 2 and half mile hill where my speed drops from 56mph to about 30/35 mph when loaded, if anyone thinks iā€™m easing off because they had a 1 mph advantage over me,which they then lose affter hitting the hill and are beside me, they can think again.

And well done to the 7.5tonner who as I was about to overtake him then swerved into my lane :open_mouth:

They do that to keep you on your toes

what i am going to ask is

when is Garner and Daf going to do a blog?

When I start driving for ā€œproperā€ at Hounslow and not Dunstable
Saturday Im either driving trucks down from Dunstable to Hounslow or shunting trailers at Hounslow after theyā€™ve been loaded ready for Monday :sunglasses:
