We’ve had one written off by a casual driver this week, and another casual driver had 3 accidents in two days a couple of weeks back. There was one who wrote off 2 cars on the M1 last year. I think it’s time to park them up while the drivers are off

Simple answer dont have a holiday,if you dont like others making adjustments to suit them
If you work for a Company that employs a lot Drivers or uses a lot of Agency you might have had a different Driver every day,bet they are not cloned to be the same as you.If each Driver has left it as they found it you`ll have to get everything adjusted back to your liking.If I’m early to a job, I limp around all the trucks and adjust the seat, radio and mirrors on all of them!

Its even better if you do it to one of the guys who’ve been with the company for years and think they own the place. The reaction as they huff and puff, swearing under their breath, is priceless!
He would love the warehouse/shunter at Southampton Hermes as he was that short he had to drop the seat to the floor to drive the truck

like to find out who drives my wagon on nights then,if I did I would have to ask how the heck he drives it like he does,every morning when I get in the steering wheel is literally touching the drivers seat,amazed how anyone can drive like that,unless the shunters do it to wind me up,wouldn’t put it past them to do it for a laugh

Could be worse, one of the agency drivers I know makes a habit of leaving the radio language as Polish. Also when you get in the truck after he has you find the tacho is as well.

The tacho will change to the language of the issuing country and will change back when you put your card in

That is something I did not know…As my last wagon was still analogue with paper charts , you learn something new every day !
Not bothered about seat but why the driver changed just about everything else in the cab when he was in for 1 night / day I really don’t know he hated it if anyone done this when he was driving full time ( ok he just retired just does the odd day now )
Yep I have had words with him if it had been a week ok some things but really he moved / changed just about everything for 1 trip but that is men for you
Know a kid who would adjust everything in a cab just to shunt it round the yard seat radio mirrors the works
