Who will you vote for and why?

fuse:
At the end of the day if the EU project was any good remain would or should have had easily 20 million votes.(we did not know what we were voting for ) err we have been a member for 40 years so we know what it was and where it looked to be going and in17 million cases did not like it…nothing to do with red bus and all that ,if we get stuck inn, this country will be ok I just hope Scotland do not leave .

A warning to the future from the past.

Labour lost and that was a foregone conclusion. The only thing not known was by how many seats and there are two reasons for this.

The first is that this election was an endorsement of Brexit, or not, because if there hadn’t been a deadlock on Brexit the election wouldn’t have happened.

The second reason is even worse. Labour was a party for the working class and when Blair ditched them for ‘New Labour’ and a rose emblem, from then on they were doomed. Labour is now a party of single issues and contains the same type of MPs seen in the greens and the Lib Dems, led by the same kind of socialist characters whose ideas were popular half a century ago. Like them or loathe them, the giants of the Labour party who at least stood for something have gone. All Corbyn could do is repeat the same promises of freebies and the tax payer knew who was going to pay for that and it wasn’t going to come out of the pockets of the wealthy.

Boris is no Winston Churchill and told as many porkies as his two predecessors. He was simply the only choice between more of the same v a disintegration under Corbyn.

Ironically with the dust settled the only logical conclusion is that Corbyn, like Blair and Farage,is ‘in on it’ and they are all controlled opposition.Which explains why Starmer was put into the shadow Brexit job and Hoey driven out.As is the SNP with Swineson’s obvious congratulation of the SNP win of her seat.We already knew that in the case of Blair then Farage.Check out Corbyn’s background working class bs.It’s obvious that the media was going by a pre scripted charade reporting the result of this election before the polls had even closed IE the establishment knew what the result was going to be.On that note the giants would be Shore,Benn and in this case Skinner. So tell us how does Skinner’s vote supposedly go Tory while Corbyn maintained his seat with loads to spare. We’re all being plaid by a Machiavellian agenda with its roots in an unholy alliance and hybrid of Soviet Socialism and German Federalism/Nazism.Juncker and Tusk are probably still celebrating having been given the good news by Boris before the polls had even opened let alone closed followed by Corbyn’s rabble and the SNP all congratulating Boris on finishing the job which May started in 2017.Now prepare for the media blitz talking up how BRINO is supposedly going to be so good for us and ‘heal’ the divisions.

It’s not just the media that thought the Tories would win, the end result was pretty obvious. I think Farage is genuine. He’s the only one never to have changed his stance and it’s the mainstream party leaders who were bought out. The big players like Shore, Benn and Skinner are relics of a by-gone era in an election that focused on Brexit. Corbyn won in Islington, from votes from the same ‘champagne socialists’ like himself who inhabit that place. If Corbyn was a real socialist, they wouldn’t have touched him with a bargepole. Boris simply promised the majority what they wanted to hear, but whether that occurs is another matter.

I’m sad that Dennis Skinner lost his seat after 49 years . The last honest mp , true to his principals . I didn’t always agree with him , but I respected his forthright attitude . At 87 years old I for one wish him a happy retirement .

It’s not so much that the Tories were likely to win but it’s the unbelievable way in which they’ve won.An unprecedented Northern swing from Lab to Con when the plan was supposedly that vote would go for TBP.As for Farage yeah right says trust May in 2017,trashes UKIP and then helps Boris to get a Mandate to deliver BRINO after the Tories had stated they’d vote with Labour in support of the Benn Act.Which leaves question of how was the the obvious tactical vote exercise arranged which almost took out Raab, bearing in mind that it was Labour who were second previously not the LibDims and that was an unbelievably convenient and co incidental change in the voting habits of a massive amount of the vote here and the circumstances of the turnout spike and tactical vote which also took out Goldsmith.

Whatever we’ve just seen it was no election as we know it nor was it planned or intended to be just like 2017.But the fascists across the Channel had obviously learn’t from the 2017 rehearsal and tweaked however they did it to perfection to create the mandate they wanted to void the Referendum vote.Make no mistake this was an EU coup as we’ll find out when Boris ties us to Lisbon in the form of ‘BRINO’ dressed up as European 'co operation and ‘alignment’.All based on the excuse of healing the ‘divisions’ and to keep the SNP on board because we mustn’t upset the Remainer Scots.

Ironically we’re facing a bigger threat from these fascists now with this Machiavellian 2017 re run election coup than we were when the referendum vote went the wrong way for them.

There was nothing unbelievable about the result, it was a foregone conclusion. Farage trusted the promises of Cameron, and May and stood aside in many Tory seats to stop Labour having even a chance of winning. It was more an election on keeping out those who would have second referendums or ignore the 2016 referendum v someone who at least agreed on the general principle of recognizing the 2016 referendum as a valid people’s choice. The political coup was from the remainer politicians who wanted to keep the EU in.

I have a feeling we’ll get the worst of both worlds. A deal that will keep us with one foot in the EU door, presented as a Brexit which will satisfy the referendum majority. In other words, nothing really will change because the elite political class don’t want change.

In 2016 the majority voted against collectivization and again just now as Labour suffered the biggest hammering for well over half a century.

I can’t remember whether I ever stated it out loud here, but I suspected Labour was going to lose over the Brexit issue and I’d been warning people to prepare for another Blairite putch, so I’m not shellshocked at this result, although I’m disappointed that my fears have materialised in the former respect.

There have been a number of consolation prizes. We’ve had the second referendum. We have Swinson’s scalp (courtesy of the SNP), and the LibDems have been thrashed. The Tiggers (Remain defectors from both main parties) were blown from the guns. I’m hoping this leaves Remain, and all who supported it most staunchly, in permanent discredit.

Nevertheless the challenge still for many who consider themselves socialists, will be to realise that EU market liberalism is not socialism.

Firstly it’s clear that the Tories were/are no less Remainers than any other Party it’s just that they chose to dress up their ‘method’ of remain in a different more subtle mask ( BRINO ) v Revoke.Or more like BRINO to Revoke. Also bearing in mind that they crowned May as leader and it was clear that Davis was just putting on an act when Hammond was pulling his strings, followed by the 2017 GE stunt instead of delivering Brexit. You know the same needless election in which Farage said trust May followed by nuking UKIP and its new leader in the form of Batten.

Which leaves that glaring question what happened in the case of Raab’s seat when if it looked like part of a foregone EU coup at the ballot it probably was.IE I think he expected to lose it on the basis of a foregone EU planned rigging of the ballot.Bearing in mind that a massive Labour vote, who don’t even know each other, let alone could possibly have discussed putting such a plan together, doesn’t suddenly decide to make a coordinated tactical switch to LibDims when logically it would have expected to be vice versa with Labour being in second place here.

The only ‘hammering’ was of a naive electorate having been the victims of a massive Machiavellian type coup which would take and has the grubby paw prints of the Fascist EU all over it.To the point where I wouldn’t be surprised if the ballot boxes we saw at the polling stations weren’t even the same ballot boxes as being opened at the ‘count’.While it’s clear that Bojo is no different to all the other Europhile Tory tossers we’ve seen from Heath to Camoron and May he’s just acting under orders of the EU who’ve chosen a clever plan to create a bs mandate to reverse the Referendum which went wrong with Farage and Corbyn both being controlled opposition in that regard, instructed to throw their respective charges under the bus, leaving the way open for the Tories to do what they do best from Heath to May.Helped by a cross party remain alliance which is still there in the form of numerous Remain MP’s not least of which being the SNP rabble.Raab’s replacement having been part of that EU instigated and owned quisling bunch of traitors but they just got the maths a bit wrong just like the referendum on the night. :bulb:

When you look at the EU, you need to ask yourself who it benefits and the answer is the politicians, bankers and corporations. Their job is to persuade voters that they too have done well, or will do in the future and after years of promises that’s not happening. Mass economic migrant competition, collectivization, globalization, under a centralized bureaucracy simply hasn’t and doesn’t work. In America and across Europe, people are beginning to vote the elitist globalists out and return to a common sense era when borders and democracy did work.

It’s a bit like Greta Thunberg’s continuing predictions that we’re all going to die from climate change unless we ‘do something.’ The ‘do something’ is always to pay more taxes to governments. Just like the EU; are we all going to starve to death because we voted to leave the EU and can only EU Commissioners save us? True to form, having failed to convince voters the liberal fascists now go after the younger generation and try to convince them that only elitist politicians can save them and the planet.

Labour lost so badly because they lost their traditional voting base and concentrated on green revolutions, mass-immigration and anti-democratic values led by middle class elites. These are the same type of people who run the EU. The working class have absolutely nothing in common with the Labour party anymore and have experienced the decline in their living standards despite EU promises of mass-immigration in a Europe sans borders being beneficial. Brexit and the Labour collapse was simply an ‘about time’ reaction to a failed elitist coup involving politicians from all parties.

Ironically when you look at what’s happened ( two GE’s since the referendum charade which went wrong ) ending up with the same old Tory establishment getting in again,on the basis of the same old controlled opposition good cop bad cop routine, then the bankers and the EU have won again.IE the people didn’t vote for Nationalism. They voted against Corbyn’s laughable act resulting in an EU instigated SNP,Starmer led Labour and Tory Federalist Remain coalition it always intended since 2016.

As for the USA the same sheep didn’t vote against the Federal collective which Lincoln imposed on the place by force which,as in this case, would have taken boycott on the basis of refusal to recognise the Federal government’s right, let alone mandate,to govern. They just voted for yet another controlled opposition Federalist shill in the form of Trump.

As for Thunberg don’t hear BoJo saying let’s go back to a coal fired energy policy. No because he’s more interested in looking after the French nuclear energy industry and its Chinese backers.

As for Labour losing badly. No it actually did the EU’s bidding which is why controlled opposition leader Corbyn is still there with Starmer still pulling the strings behind the scenes and Skinner and Hoey have gone.

Meet the new boss same as the old boss. :bulb:

What happens now remains to be seen, but the hope is that the Conservatives learn their lesson about leaving the EU because if they don’t, the only other alternative is to go back half a century under Labour. Same with the Italians, Hungarians, US … People are beginning to vote back in sovereign governments, re-establish borders and ditch globalism. As the EU project starts to collapse, the EU supporting career politicians will change with it because they will always back the winning side.

No one is going back to coal and the ‘pea souper’ pollution days of the 60s, but it’s hoped that this zero pollution promise nonsense to change the earth’s climate through taxation will fade alongside the other promises of the globalist new world order. Cheap nuclear fuel is the future, not a fantasy of millions of people sitting in cities wrapped in woolens relying on wind turbines. Pollution is a price we pay for millions of people living in small areas demanding all the creature comforts and lifestyles we’re used to. Industrial revolutions throughout the world were not built on wind farms and smoke free zones.

The Corbyn’s will come and go and the social justice warriors he attracts run by London metropolitan elites. The same with the EU run by Commissioners for the benefit of the elites. We need to get away from trying to build equality based socialist utopias and stop the new age idols such as Al Gore and Thunberg and in Europe the Junker’s and Tusk’s.

There isn’t a small group of people sitting in a dark room plotting all this. It’s an ideological coup by the elite called progressivism. Progressivism is the elite from both sides of the political spectrum coming together in common cause and their job is to convince populations that only they can rule and have all the answers. Progressivism arose in the early 20th century in the US to deal with the problems of industrialization. It’s now re-surfacing to deal with the problems in a post-industrial west.

Progressivism has had several name changes over the past century; from Communitarianism in the 20th century which was proposed by the Chartist movement, to HG Wells who referred to it as Liberal Fascism, but it’s always a rule by the elite and an attempt to dumb down and equalize society, which is what the EU does. When we’re all on a minimum wage and our economy looks like that of Romania we’ll all be equal, except for the elite of course. Eventually, we might have a little podium as in the 20th century, where we can all march past and cheer our betters?!

EU progressivism hasn’t made Europe or Britain better, which is why the EU and its supporters are so keen to ignore referendums and democracy. Huxley in ‘Brave New World’ (1958) summed progressivism up perfectly when he remarked: ‘Within the next generation I believe the world rulers will discover infant conditioning and narco-hypnosis are more efficient, as instruments of government, than clubs and prisons, and that the ■■■■ for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging and kicking them into obedience.’ In other words, the purpose of the EU is to convince the gullible that the elite are special and only they can rule in a sort of benevolent dictatorship.

https://hubpages.com/politics/The-Progressive-Movement
‘The Progressive Movement began late in the 19th Century. Its Central Tenets are Statism, Income Redistribution, Unionism, Government Management of the Economy, womb to tomb provision for its citizens, and a Libertine Social Policy.’

The hard-left indoctrinated sheep after a democratic election. Leave this to Europe, we don’t want it here.

Firstly there is no evidence that the US is questioning its slavish adherence to Federalism,in favour of supremacy of the individual state legislatures over the Federal government. While as we’ve seen German Federalism continues unabated. To the point of the Euro Federalists wheeling out the same old bs that Federalism = peace and Nationalism is the aggressor. When both world wars and the secession of Ireland being met by force and the fight to free the Balkans from Tito’s mess proved exactly the opposite. Not to mention Lincoln’s rampage across the US to impose the Collective on the secessionist states and which is still imposing that Stalinist agenda,on the mantra of Secession = treason,to date.Realistically we won’t make secession stick in Europe until the US is ready to embrace the idea at home.Which is also why we didn’t see the allied powers smash the German Federal government system and return the German states to their pre 1871 position at least,in 1945.

As for nuclear being the answer more like expensive and dangerous not cheap and safe.Unless you like the idea of living in Chernobyl. While the smog issue was more one of ‘how’ we burnt coal not coal fired energy generation being dirty per se.With clean coal burning technology being in existence since the 1980’s to the point where Germany is still rightly choosing the safety and cost advantages of coal over nuclear with new coal fired power stations on line.

You’ve lost me. What is happening in the EU has nothing to do with the US, German Federalism or Tito. The EU is good old Euro communism run by the elite and presented as democratic progress. It’s called a ‘project’ because it has never been tried before and is a mish mash of all the leftist ideology put into one basket and hoping it will work. It’s all there from the equality of open borders, to centralized bureaucracy and five year plans to the single issues of global warming and a Commissioner who tells Europe that he’s in touch with aliens from another planet! The US has a constitution which prevents oddballs from taking power, but the EU has no such safeguards.

Fossil fuels are a dirty way of providing fuel, but apart from nuclear power there is nothing else. The ‘green revolution’ is a scam for governments to increase taxation using fear of a world catastrophe that’s been doing the rounds for decades – presently led by a mentally disturbed child. We import 96% of our coal from abroad, that’s not going to end anytime soon.

Grandpa:

The EU is clearly a hybrid of Tito’s Socialist type Federalism and US/German type Federalism. As such it’s nothing new and will all end the same way in being imposed by force and/or trying to assimilate its neighbours like Ukraine.

As for Fossil fuels v Nuclear it doesn’t get any dirtier than the evil zb that’s created in a Nuclear reactor and all the risks to anything living that go with it.No surprise the Fatherland thinks it’s too important to go by its own bs Global Warmist rules but it’s ok to make us and France an uninhabitable wasteland.

Tito was a communist and Germany is a Federal Republic, but that’s where the similarities with the EU end. Even the Soviets didn’t attempt to wipe out cultures with open borders or abolish nationalism and envisage merging nation states into a one European identity, but there again the EU isn’t communist, it’s liberal fascist. Throughout history, when empires stop expanding they start to collapse.

So cheap energy is either fossil or nuclear. Germany will get a big shock if a European rector melts down or leaks, as nature isn’t political and won’t distinguish where it takes the fallout. Chernobyl, Fukushima in Japan, or our own Windscale, accidents will happen but it’s the price we pay for our comfort and first-world lifestyle.
