I don’t care who reads the traffic news, I just wish they’d get rid of that annoying Vanessa Feltz woman. Her constant verbal diarrohea drives me to Classic FM. I don’t want to hear Chris Evens shouting his head off either.
Do you think this is why I’m referred to as MOF at work?
What annoys me is that they do all that chats and jokes when they should give traffic info. When I listen to my CD and it switches to traffic info, I should expect traffic info, 10-15 seconds of important information - like in France or Germany. But no, here it switches to traffic info, then you have some irrelevant chat, then you have a bit of actual info, and then you have to listen to some stupid jingle before they switch off…
If I would like to listen to their jokes, chit chat etc, I would listen to the radio…
Because of that I am no longer using auto-switch and listen just to my music, taking traffic info via TMC on my sat nav (usually out of date as well).
