Who is responsible for the 48 hour rule?

I believe Dozy is responsible for everything

As for my query, i think I’ll go with the advice not lose any sleep by being a little over…
Plus put it on break any time I’m sat on my arse waiting!

Cheers people!

Are there any ‘apps’ to help the driver manage the WTD? I mean, companies will have you drive every hour going, and to keep things looking good, they send you out in a van for a couple of days. I know you’re supposed to keep a record of van driving, but who does? It’s all about pound notes in the bank on a Friday that drivers are concerned about.

Can’t use break more often unless I start tipping on break which is a no no. I spent more time driving then doing “other work”, most days I’m doing at least 7 hours plus of driving and about 2 hours of other work with about an 1 hour and a half worth of break. I know that any 6 hour rule infringement will appear when your card is checked but I haven’t seen anything that would indicate a 48 hour rule infringement.
