Three hours waiting in Valley Road today! No material. All you Ferrybridge glory boys have pinched it.
Parked at Cherwell valley srvs as had a systems failure of the sat nav so can’t continue my journey safely , spoke to planning & operations have said there going to get a new device brought out so I can safely continue my journey

They tried that system with us when I was GXO. The upshot was that every time we came across a road closure or diversion we’d park in the nearest safe place, ring the office and say we were waiting for the planners to give us a new safe route. It lasted less than a week before they abandoned it

Just shows how much (or how little) level of competence these kin ‘‘planners’’ consider us to have eh? …what a kin insult.
They obviously think we are as competent at our job as they are at theirs.
(Still think he’s having us on btw…but I’ll gan with it.)
I’d be milking it and sitting all day on hourly rate.
Well we are only getting one a day i loaded last night and im still queing since 7am i was supposed to get another from Leeds for here then go to Chesterfield back to Leeds. I wonder if our main man’s from Leatherhead

Not me my favourite part of doing Northern runs is turning back Saf again.Not surprised all that local Norvern work is making you miserable.
When you’re from the North you’re better off working the North, it saves having to go South 
Wed..Late 10am start, loaded and strapped a couple of trailers while waiting for my motor, loaded my own, parked up at Stoke to watch Newcastle on tv.
Thurs…Coventry, Bridgwater, Wiveliscombe ….park at Bridgwater.
Fri….Cullompton,.Totnes and Redruth….back to Avonmouth, park up.
Sat up at 5 …Live load, very slow.
Motorway a nightmare , back in yard about 3 ish, home for about 5. ….. 45 hour week.Sorted.
Off to a bonfire bbq at my lads shortly.
Tomorrow watching football in pub, 2 games Newcastle and Liverpool games with my Liverpool fan mate.
Off to coop castle wood , heron foods hull , tesco Goole , brigg then see what else I’ve got on me , just stopped at trowel as don’t think coop opens until 6 am for deliveries
Last 2 weeks all the messages of imminent doom have started on these dafs again , today tacho
Looked at hours last week & thought just under 60 not so bad , but now noticed instead of before where your hours were from when you clocked in to when you clocked out then they took 45 mins off later , there now taking it off your hours shown on time card , so last weeks hours are actually 59.46 + 5x45 mins = 64 hrs apx no idea what the idea is there , probably hoping you’ll be thinking like I was originally , not such a bad week .
